The Ponds High School is receiving a major upgrade to ensure local students have access to high-quality, modern learning facilities that meet the needs of our growing community.
The $100+ million upgrade will transform the school, delivering new classrooms, specialist facilities and improved spaces for students, staff and the wider school community.
When complete, the project will deliver:
- 51 new classrooms
- New science laboratories
- Specialist learning spaces and VET facilities
- A new lecture theatre
- New cricket nets
- An upgraded sports field
- 50 additional car parking spaces
- The removal of dozens of existing demountable classrooms
These upgrades will provide students with more permanent, purpose-built learning environments and help the school continue to support growing enrolments across the local area.
Construction is being carefully managed to minimise disruption for students and staff, with important events including HSC trials and examinations continuing unaffected.
