The Multicultural Community Medals and Honour Roll celebrate people and organisations from across NSW who are making outstanding contributions to our multicultural society.
The Multicultural Community Medals recognise individuals and organisations creating positive change through community leadership, volunteering, advocacy, service delivery and initiatives that foster belonging, inclusion and understanding between cultures.
The Multicultural Honour Roll is special recognition given to someone who has passed away. It honours the important work they did to build a more inclusive, strong and connected community for everyone.
General eligibility
Every nomination must meet the mandatory requirements below, as well as the specific criteria for the relevant award.
- Nominees must be permanent residents or citizens of Australia.
- Nominees must be a resident of NSW or an organisation based in NSW.
- The nominee's contribution must have had an impact on the NSW community.
- All required fields must be completed.
- All required documentation must be provided.
- Any use of artificial intelligence must be declared in the nomination.
- Nominees cannot be recognised for work undertaken in their capacity as a NSW Government employee, Multicultural NSW employee, Advisory Board member or judging panel member.

Community Harmony Medal
Recognises an individual who has helped build social cohesion by promoting understanding, respect and acceptance between people from different cultural and faith communities across NSW.
