Across NSW, people and organisations are working every day to bring communities together, support new arrivals, preserve culture and language, improve access to services and create stronger connections between people from different backgrounds.
The Multicultural Community Medals recognise those contributions and shine a light on the people who make a lasting difference to multicultural NSW.
The Multicultural Honour Roll provides special recognition for someone who has passed away and whose work made an important contribution to building a more inclusive, connected and harmonious community.

The 2027 Multicultural Community Medal winners and Multicultural Honour Roll inductees will be recognised during the Premier's Harmony Dinner at ICC Sydney on 2 March 2027.

Whether through volunteering, community leadership, teaching, sport, health, the arts, media or support for people from culturally diverse backgrounds, these contributions help make NSW a stronger place.

Each nomination is checked against the mandatory eligibility requirements.
Assessment
Eligible nominations are assessed by a Judging Panel using a scoring matrix.
Final approval
The NSW Minister for Multiculturalism and NSW Premier approve and endorse the list of winners.
