Grants Now Open to Help Prevent Gender-Based Violence
The Minns Labor Government is investing in safer communities through the 2026 16 Days of Activism Grant Program, with grants of between $2,500 and $5,000 now available to support grassroots organisations delivering initiatives that help prevent gender-based violence before it starts.

Supporting Local Communities to Drive Change
The 16 Days of Activism Grant Program provides funding to support local organisations in delivering initiatives that address the drivers of domestic, family and sexual violence while promoting respect, equality and safer communities.
Funding of between $2,500 and $5,000 is available for projects delivered through community groups, schools, workplaces and sporting organisations that encourage respectful relationships and challenge attitudes and behaviours that tolerate or condone violence against women.
Last year, 20 initiatives were delivered across New South Wales, including community workshops, awareness campaigns and prevention events that engaged young people, boys and men, workplaces and local communities.
The program forms part of the Minns Labor Government's broader investment in preventing domestic, family and sexual violence, supporting local organisations to lead meaningful change where it matters most.

Local community-based organisations know what works in their communities, so these grants are our way of tapping into those insights to deliver activities that support change in the community.
