A Major Upgrade for The Ponds High School
The Minns Labor Government is delivering a major upgrade of The Ponds High School, replacing temporary demountable classrooms with 50 new permanent classrooms and modern facilities for local students and families.

A School Upgrade for a Growing Community
The Ponds High School has experienced extraordinary growth since opening in 2015, with enrolments quickly outgrowing the school's permanent capacity.
The upgrade will deliver 50 new permanent classrooms, including general learning, support and specialist classrooms, alongside two VET kitchens, two science labs, three wood and metal workshops and a new lecture theatre.
Students will also benefit from upgraded sporting facilities, new cricket nets, improved outdoor areas and 50 additional parking spaces.
As the new buildings are completed and the demountable classrooms are progressively removed, students will gain up to 7,000 square metres of additional play space.
