Tallawong Public School is now open, providing much-needed new education infrastructure for families in Western Sydney’s rapidly growing North West.
The new permanent school has capacity for 600 students and includes 24 modern classrooms, three support learning classrooms, a school hall, library, canteen, sports court and dedicated play areas, creating a high-quality learning environment for students and teachers.
The opening of Tallawong Public School also means the removal of 15 demountable classrooms at Riverstone Public School, which were previously used as a temporary solution to manage growing enrolments while permanent infrastructure was delivered.
For years, families across Sydney’s North West experienced significant population growth without the schools and essential infrastructure needed to support new communities. While new housing developments continued, local families were left waiting for the education facilities they were promised.
The school responds to the growing demand for public education in one of Sydney’s fastest-growing regions, helping provide students, families and teachers with the facilities they need for the future.
