Schofields Public School has received a major upgrade, delivering new permanent facilities for students and replacing ageing temporary classrooms with modern learning spaces.
As part of the NSW Government’s investment in rebuilding public education, a new three-storey building with 24 classrooms has been delivered, providing hundreds of students with high-quality permanent classrooms designed to support learning and growth.
For nearly a decade, Schofields Public School relied on 29 demountable classrooms, which accommodated almost half of the school’s students as enrolments grew rapidly across the area. The upgrade provides a long-term solution for a community experiencing some of the fastest student population growth in NSW.
The project is part of a broader investment in new and upgraded schools across Western Sydney, ensuring families in growing communities have access to modern public education facilities close to home.
The removal of the demountable classrooms will also create significant benefits beyond the new classrooms, freeing up 4,300 square metres of additional play space for students to enjoy.
